Scale
- 2 Tbsp coconut oil
- 1/3 cup corn kernels for popping
- salt
- 1 tsp paprika (or cayenne if you want more kick!)
- 4 oz. milk chocolate, finely chopped
Instructions
- In a deep saucepan with a lid, heat the coconut oil (make sure it is covering the entire bottom of the pan, add more if needed) and two corn kernels over medium heat.
- Once the kernels pop, add the remaining kernels, cover, and shake side to side a few times. As the kernels begin popping, shake the pan over the flame to keep anything from burning. If you need to, pour some of the popped corn to make room for the rest of it!
- As soon as all of the corn is popped, season generously with salt and the paprika, toss a few times to distribute, then add the chocolate. Mix slowly, letting it melt and disperse throughout the popcorn.
- Enjoy immediately, for a slightly messy snack, or allow to cool for a more finger-friendly snack.
