- 3 cups raw almonds
- 1/4 cup olive oil (or other cooking oil)
- 1/3 cup soy sauce {Tamari if you need GF}
- 1-2 tsp sriracha
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300F.
- Line a baking sheet with tin foil, and spread the almonds in a single layer over the pan. Bake for 10 minutes.
- While the almonds are baking, combine the olive oil, soy sauce, sriracha, and brown sugar. Mix well.
- Remove the almonds from the oven and transfer (hot) into a large bowl. Pour the liquid mixture over the nuts, and stir for about three minutes, trying to get most of the liquid soaked into the nuts.
- Spread the nuts again on the lined baking sheet, and bake for another 15-20 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool, stirring occasionally to prevent clumping, before eating.
