- 2 14 oz cans of black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 jalapeño (remove seeds for less spice, or leave them in!)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 1/4 medium onion
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp salt (more to taste)
- 2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese (optional, will help tame the spice a bit)
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor, and blend until smooth! Serve with chips or crackers.
