Binh An Village Dalat Review

Binh An Village Dalat | thekitchenpaper.com

Dalat is a popular spot for honeymooners {like us!} in Vietnam — both Vietnamese and foreigners flock to the "Paris of Vietnam" for a romantic getaway. With cooler weather, fabulous restaurants, plenty to see and do, it's easy to see why! We fell in love with Dalat immediately, and had a hard time making ourselves leave! While we were in Dalat, we were thrilled to stay at Binh An Village Dalat — a charming little resort up in the hills outside of Dalat. If you're looking for a romantic getaway: This is it.

We found our way out to the "village" on our motos, growing more excited with each kilometer of the windy road, passing pine forests and a beautiful lake, next to which the resort sits. Upon arriving at the gate to the resort, we were greeted with beautifully-maintained flowerbeds which made the entire resort smell AMAZING. Every time we stepped out of our room we would exclaim how wonderful it smelled: that alone was reason to stay!

We checked into our room, the Mimosa Suite, and immediately felt at home. We've been on the road for over two months and never really felt "cozy" anywhere. Binh An Village changed that! Our suite was spacious, clean, bright, and super cozy! The love seat was calling my name pretty seriously — what a nice place to take a snooze! I also loved the desk {and adorable velvet chair!}, perfect for actually getting some work done! It's nice to work somewhere other than in bed, for a change.

The entire suit was surrounded by French doors, which we kept open most of the time to let in the delicious smells and fresh mountain air. If I hadn't known better, I would have guessed we were in Colorado in the fall! I'm a sucker for long, gauzy, white fabric (remember our wedding??), so I spent an embarrassing amount of time staring at the window treatments blowing in the wind. So pretty! And from the outside, too! {How cute is that "privacy" sign? I love it!}.

What I first thought was a nice piece of art, was really a nice piece of art covering a TV! I love it! {and the fireplace below it!}.

The best part of our room? THE BATHROOM. I love nice bathrooms. I especially love nice showers: this shower did not disappoint! I think we could have fit my entire extended family in the shower {err, weird? sorry}, it had that much room! The shower head delivered one square foot of downpour, there was a steam function {!!}, and a big ol' bench for those of you who like to relax in the shower. I know I do!

Once we were settled in our room, we went on a walk of the grounds. The villas are so cute, and would make the perfect place for a family getaway. They have both two and four bedroom villas, as well as the rooms and suites in the hotel. Everything overlooks the gorgeous lake, surrounded by pine trees, and is incredibly peaceful. We loved walking around the gardens, admiring and smelling the flowers, and taking a break from hectic travel-life.

After the most restful night of sleep we've had in months {literally, I think we slept for 10 hours}, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast on the patio. Fresh squeezed orange juice? Don't mind if I do! The view was so beautiful, we loved soaking it in!

We were sad to leave our suite at Binh An Village Dalat, but enjoyed our time there immensely. I could easily spend a week relaxing, breathing in the fragrant air, and enjoying the comfort of our suite! The staff was so friendly and helpful, too, which made our stay even better. We were really impressed with their professionalism and their genuine friendliness! They offer shuttles into town at various points throughout the day, which we took advantage of to get a nice dinner in town.

All in all, I can't wait to return to Dalat and stay longer at Binh An Village. I could picture having a family reunion here, or a couples getaway weekend! If you're looking for a wonderful place to enjoy some time out of the hustle and bustle of Vietnam, I highly recommend staying at Binh An Village. You can find them online, here! Thanks for the wonderful stay, Binh An!
